What makes me qualified to work for you?Hello, and welcome to Web
Designs by Kate.
I'm Kate (Kathryn) Speakes - Large. I have over 20 years
administrative and secretarial experience and have been designing websites since 1999. In 2001 I left
the corporate world to work in my private office offering virtual assistance to
clients throughout the US, Canada and China. Almost
immediately my work took an unexpected, but exciting turn from
virtual assistance to web design. Most of the sites I create
now are spiritually based, because I "get" the spiritual basis from
which healers, mediums and metaphysical teachers work.
However, after so many years in the corporate world based in
computers, construction and architecture, I also have the background
expertise to create websites from genres outside the spiritual
realm. In short, I have a well rounded basis from which to
create many types of websites.
I approach webdesign with your needs in mind - thinking outside
the box to overcome challenges, transforming them to opportunities for a
wide variety of websites. I feel that "when there's a will,
there's a way..." In other words, I'm here to put
together the site you want to fulfill your
needs. Whether your site informs potential clients of the facts about
your business/company or notifies your friends of an upcoming
celebration, my goal is to not only get your message to others through
cyberspace in a user friendly, marketable manner. If the website
is spiritually based, those clicking into the website will experience
your energy and essence.
I'm here to make your life easier by taking your ideas,
your business, your passion
and making them a reality - live on the web.

In case of death (two of my clients have transitioned), I move forward
fulfilling the wishes of the client.
One more thing... A minimum of four times per year Web Designs by
Kate gives back to the universe by creating a website for a new client
at no charge. The only fee to the client is the domain
registration at GoDaddy.com - approximately $10 per year - and sometimes
I throw that fee in as well. It is the goal of Web Designs by Kate
to provide these no charge websites, Gifts Back to the Universe, as many
as twelve (12) times per year. If you would like to donate to this
